East Street Senior Housing

Publicly funded housing should be comparable to the creativity and finish of any modern multi-family residential project. It was important to us to make sure the senior population housed here would have a home designed with dignity and pride of place. No matter the income level of our seniors, they deserve our best design efforts. The individual units are arranged to capture views of Lassen National Park and the entire development is oriented to block summer’s intense heat. The colors mimic the fall leaves of the surrounding national park lands adding a vibrancy to the unique architectural detailing. East Street Senior Housing has achieved LEED Gold certification, in keeping with our commitment to the highest environmental design standards.

The property features 21 units and is close to local amenities like shopping, dining and recreation. There are expansive views of the surrounding landscape from every unit.

The Challenge

Using inspired design to do more with less, creating a warm and inviting environment for a senior population that is affordable – resulting in a property that is upscale by design, not by budget.
