Building on a Sustainable Foundation
Redding School of the Arts Activity Center
When Redding School of the Arts moved to their new campus in 2011, there was a brief concern that not all their students would make the move with them across town. They need not have worried, as enrollment demand has continued to greatly exceed the design capacity of the school. Not a bad problem to have, this nevertheless has created a need for additional support space even as the number of students has remained as originally planned. This proposed addition – opening to a secure garden courtyard – provides multi-purpose space to better accommodate that student population.
