Carr Fire Aftermath: Trilogy & the Local AIA Look to Help

Dear Shasta County Community,

With the recent outbreak of the Carr fire, Trilogy Architecture, as a member of the American Institute of Architects for more than twenty-five years, has been approached by the A.I.A., Central Valley Chapter.

We are all saddened by the devastation caused by this wildfire, and wish the best to each of you, with the hope that you and your loved ones are safe.

The chapter wants you to know that they are working diligently with our state component, AIACC, to establish systems and information gathering so that they can be best equipped to serve those affected. They are following the CalFire site, and with Trilogy’s support, are preparing to assist CalFire and FEMA at the Local Assistance Centers (LAC’s)–to provide insight and lend expertise in the design realm as needed.

In the meantime, please visit: http://architectshelp.org/, and click on the Carr Fire tab under Local Resources, where you can find useful information such as insurance carrier telephone numbers. Valuable resources for state and federal assistance as well as legal, temporary housing and insurance aid are also provided on the website.

Please contact the chapter if they can be of assistance in any way: kanderson@aiacv.org
